Universal Extractor is a truly universal tool for extracting and decompressing archive files, executable files and applications. It supports an impressive list of archive formats, compression methods and file formats. It has a simple user interface that allows flexible configuration settings such as file destination. It is designed to only extract and open archive files and not to create archives. As such, it is not a complete replacement for your standard 7zip or RAR utilities, but is an absolute must have tool in your Windows toolkit for the rare occasions when you may be posed with unknown archive files.
