muCOmmander is a powerful and very useful file manager that fits multiple platforms such as Windows, Mac and Linux. It has a familiar dual pane window that supports drag and drop functionality and visually enhances file management tasks such as copying, comparing files, folders etc. The program natively supports archive and disk image files and allows batch processing tasks such as renaming, editing dates etc. You can also split large volumes and merge multiple volumes into one. File management can be done for local volumes but the program also supports working with remote servers via FTP and HTTP clients.
