SystemResueCD is a bootable CD with Linux operating system that is used in emergency situations to boot computer and drives after a crash. It is used mainly to recover disk partitions and data files. It includes multiple partition and editing tools such as GNU Parted, GParted, fdisk, PartImage, TEetDisk etc to effectively solve any partition related tasks. It has built in browser, archiving tool, file manager among many other helpful tools. It must be used as a temporary measure and is definitely not for the novice user given its complexity and highly specific nature.
