LeoCAD is a free open source computer aided design platform that uses LEGO style bricks to create complex 3D models. It includes thousands of template bricks in different colors an designs but allows creating and desigining your own bricks and adding to database. It is esecially suitable for children as an educational tool as well as for novice architects as it has a comparatively easy intuitive user interface for such a complex designing platform and has multiple editing tools. It includes rendering engines and allows isometric visualization of 3D objects. You can export LeoCAD design project to other 3D editing and CAD platforms as well as edit previously saved projects.
