Paint.NET is a simple yet multifunctional image viewing and editing software to help you in your day to day image related tasks. Originally it was designed to replace the standard Paint application in Windows but in reality this software is much more potent and offers many flexible and useful tools. For example it features layered editing of images; something characteristic of the heavier much expensive editors such as Photoshop. It fatures such tools as magic wand, gradient and other tweaking tools for advanced editing options. It has a simple interface to accommodate even the most casual of users. You can multitask using its tabbed interface, it supports plugins and has an active online community for support.
