BitComet is an advanced download client that supports Bittorrent, HTTP and FTP file transfer protocols. It includes all standard torrent download features such as queuing, prioritizing, previewing files as they download but also support HTTP mirrors which searches for all possible sources for file download and greatly accelerates download speed. Additionally it has multithreaded download engine to enhance speed even more. The program is very flexible and allows many download configuration such as file renaming, resume/stop of downloads and incorporates an automatic download scheduler and automatic shutdown after download.
