DC++ (Direct Connect) is a peer to peer file sharing protocol similar to torrent except it is simpler, faster, more private and has forums and support communities. It is a decentralized network made up of servers called hubs to which other users can connect and share among them files and information highly efficiently and with safe encryption. You can create bookmarks and favorites of hubs and individual users but also can find specific files using its advanced search facility. There are many configuration and settings options and the software provides capabilities for third party extensions and plugins.
