Mumble is an open source cross platform voice over IP solution primarily intended for gamers, administrators and hosters that uses a client–server architecture which allows users to talk to each other via the same server. It has a very simple administrative interface and features high sound quality and low latency. All communication is encrypted to ensure user privacy. It features integrated overlay, which shows who is talking and what linked channel they are in, thus enhancing and organizing gameplay communication. Its positional audio feature allows users to get a sense of team member location and direction of sound.
