Desktop Ticker is a convenient portable feed reader supporting both RSS and Atom feeds and provides an unobtrusive desktop crawler ribbon for following news and updates. The ribbon provides headlines and summaries, much like on popular news services, and you can display headlines by rolling the mouse over or clicking them to open in browser. The ribbon can be fully customized regarding color, opacity, position, font sizes etc and you can set the frequency of the news updates to be shown on the ribbon.
