LMMS, or Linux MultiMedia Studio, is a powerful music creation and editing platform for semiprofessional and home use. It boasts a great and well designed user interface that is rich and laden with a variety of effects and lots of musical instruments. You can create multiple projects in such standards as MIDI, SoundFont2, VST, LADSPA etc and imports export projects too. You can edit patterns, notes, chords and melodies using its built in Piano Roll Editor. Overall the program includes all tools for easy and quality music production.
