DarkWave Studio is a free modular virtual studio designed for high-quality synthesis of electronic music. The program has a built in editor and sequencer. These features make it possible to use a variety of virtual instruments and effects, filters and create original songs to perform their arrangement and recording tracks and even compile them as a sequence of modules. In DarkWave is possible to load different VST-instruments and effects that support API DarkPlug. This last option was specifically developed for DarkWave. One feature of the software is its ability to play via Windows Soundl.
