Anvil Studio is a powerful MIDI creating and editing platform with a plethora of features. It is designed for casual and amateur music enthusiasts and as such it requires moderate knowledge of musical concepts in order to make sense of the vast array of buttons and options. Having said that there are many helpful tools for those who have never played an instrument; sing notes for visualization, toggle mouse over notes to highlight corresponding keys etc. Having grasped the interface then you can create multitrack songs and save them as MIDI or WAV files, import files and edit them. There is a rich right click context menu for quick editing tools such as pitch, duration, volume, staccato, tie-to-next-note and delete note. Even if you are new to music but you are fond of computers you can slowly learn and create music with Anvil Studio in a highly interactive environment.
