XBMC Media Center (Xbox Media center), which is the previous name of the modern Kodi media player, is a rich platform for viewing and playing all kinds of digital media including audio, video, images, TV shows, games etc. It supports large screen interfaces (10 foot interface) to allow playing games and watching TV from a typical couch distance. You can stream and record TV programs, download media cover art and other metadata for enhanced visualization. The interface is highly customizable with cool skins and themes and its open source architecture allows many external and third party extensions and plugins.
