MPlayer is a powerful media player that prides itself with almost all known audio and video codecs as well as subtitle formats. You can play two subtitles at the same time in a variety of colors and screen positions. The program has a command line interface and an on screen display for status information. All in all it is one of the best and most rigorous media players out there.
