AkelPad is a small but comfortable and fast text editor. AkelPad works with text documents in a single-or multi-mode, fully supports Unicode strings in systems Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 and Unicode pages. Using AkelPad you can even edit files with "Read Only" attributes and preview them before opening. Other noteworthy features of the editor include multilevel undo, list of recently opened documents in the program, store the code page for the file and the position and the last line search / replace. AkelPad supports additional modules and allows you to print documents.
