Norton Power Eraser is a portable and cloud based small application for scanning system against viruses, spyware, rootkits and other malware and is known for aggressive and forceful removal of even the most stubborn malware applications. It uses a white list and a black list of applications against which it compares your system scan results. Whitelisted apps are left untouched, blacklisted apps are deleted and unknown apps are listed as suspicious. The interface is really simple and user friendly and the program takes care to create system restore points for undoing undesired deletion tasks.
