TrueCrypt is a fast encryption software for on-the-fly drive encryption. It supports a few encryption algorithms and allows encrypting entire partitions and external drives. It has a two level protection system with steganography and hidden operating system as well as does not identify any volumes whenever you are forced to reveal password as they are shown as random data. The project was discontinued from May 2014 and the developers stopped support for the program.
