Alternate HASH-Generator is a handy utility for generating hash values (check sums) for files. As you may know a file hash is a unique identifier, a DNA of sorts, for files in the form of a string of characters. It is used to identify files even though the may have changed names and other attributes. The program supports almost all algorithms such as MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2, SHA-3, AK, BKDR, DEK, RS etc.
