We are all used to the standard Windows explorer when working with files but this utility sometimes has drawbacks These include speed, inconvenience of working with large amounts of information and low functionality. An excellent substitute for this utility is TeraCopy. It is compact and easy to use but most importantly designed to move and copy files at high speed. The program fully supports Unicode, can automatically compare files before and after the copy. Its special buffer allows the program to copy large amounts of information at once any time.

Features

- Has a multi-threaded algorithm, accommodating high-speed copying and moving.
- No problems when canceling file transfer, if the process is not yet complete.
- If the document is corrupt and can not be copied, the program does not stop the process.
- There is a special list, which displays corrupt files.
- The program has a report of the operation, which can be hidden.
- There are two indicators of progress; the first shows the overall process of copying, the second - the current document.

Shortcomings

- Closed source code.
- No portable version available.
- The functionality leaves much to be desired for.
