SpeedFan is a powerful system diagnostic tools that allows viewing and monitoring temperature, voltage and fan speeds for many hardware components such as CPU, graphic card, motherboard etc. You can access hard drive SMART info, which is a built in default diagnostic tool for hard drives, and the program allows in depth online analysis of hard drive with benchmarking against existing online database. You can tweak and adjust temperatures and fan speeds of some hardware thus reducing noise in your working environment. The program has a system tray icon with color indicator of the current system status and alert level.
