CPU-Control is a small application that allows interacting with your multicore CPU and manually adjust the usage of specific cores or assign specific programs to use specific CPU parts, similar to disk partitioning. You can configure automatic alternating alogirithms for best performance according to your CPU needs. This may be useful for applications that may not be supported on multi core CPUs. You can always revert back to default settings with one click and deactivate manual changes.
- Manage multiple CPU cores individually.
- Assign specific software usage to specific cores.
- Force applications to use single CPU.
- Accomodate those applications not supported on multicore CPUs.
- Automated settings for an alternating algorithms.
- Easily disable all manual settings and return to default.
- Closed source code.
- 800 MHz central processing unit.
- 256 Mb RAM memory or more.
