Technitium MAC Address Changer is a free tool for quickly emulating MAC addresses easily. MAC stands for Media Access Control, which is a unique identifier of each individual node in a computer network. The program allows changing Network Interface Card (NIC) instantly and the program comes with built in tool that can set a new MAC address to your NIC, bypassing the original hard coded MAC address. It does so by writing a value into the windows registry and when the Network Adapter Device is enabled, Windows searches for the registry value 'NetworkAddress' in the appropriate registry key.
