PortExpert is a small and portable cyber security tool that allows to monitor all applications connected to the Internet and give you all the information you might need to identify potential threats to your system. It has a really simple user interface that lists the currently running processes and applications, with such details as port number, protocol type, remote address and PID (process identifier). It has a special Whois button to instantly lookup process names on the web for further information on their security. The program uses TCP/UDP protocols by default but you can also see local connections as well using a specially designated button. Another useful feature is its time freeze function which allos viewing process in real time for further inspection.
