Detekt is a portable and open source application designed to provide basic protection against internet malware. It has a very simple interface that comprises of one scan function that quickly scans your computer in search of RATs (Remote Administration Tools), trojans and other spyware aimed at monitoring your browsing behavior and relaying them to government entities and secret agencies. Though the program is updated for most recent and known threats it can not provide full guarantee that your computer is not traced and is free from all kinds of surveillance. Still, it provides a very quick and efficient way of detecting most commonplace malware.
