ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver is an advanced tool for creating virtual RAM drives on your computer. Normally Windows computers use a hard drive (HDD) to store data and have a RAM memory for temporarily running programs and files in the short run. RAM uses an SSD drive (solid state drive) and contrary to HDD it does not have moving mechanical parts and as such is much faster than HDD. This utility allows to create virtual SSD drives so you can transfer some programs from HDD to RAM memory in order to boost speed of performance. Additionally, you can mount image files from CDs and DVDs and mount them as ISO or NRG files. Having said that the program lacks proper interface and is designed for advanced computer users that can operate it from the command line prompt.
