Greenstone is a suite of software for building and distributing digital library collections. It provides a way of organizing information and publishing it on the web cloud services such as Dropbox or on removable media such as DVD and USB flash drives. It supports all major audio, video, image and text formats and archives the libraries in its native GAF (Greenstone Archive Format), which is an equivalent format to the XML. The program is open source and provides multilingual support for all kinds of users with the facility of command line tools and a convenient tabbed intuitive program interface.
