Pidgin is universal multi protocol chat client that integrates all popular chat clients into one interface for ease of communication and multitasking. It supports such protocols as AIM, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber/XMPP, MSN Messenger, Yahoo!, Bonjour, Gadu-Gadu, IRC, Novell GroupWise Messenger, Lotus Sametime, SILC, SIMPLE, MXit, and Zephyr. Its interface facilitates file transfers, smileys and contacts management. It supports over 80 languages and facilitates use of plugins and third party extensions.
