WInDirStat, which stands for Windows Directory Statistics, is a powerful disc usage analysis tool for Windows. The purpose of the utility is to scan all or specific drives on your system and return a comprehensive report, which can be used to delete obsolete files and free up disc space. Its main appeal is its graphic representation interface whereby directories are sorted and represented by percentage of the total drive and extensions are separated in a color coded view. Each directrory can be expanded and the tree map will zoom in on the color coded map in a fractal like manner. You can safely delete files after careful analysis of extension and occupying size within its directory.
