Scribus is a free and open source program for desktop publishing (DTP) for any user. You can use it to create custom brochures, flyers, magazines, business cards etc. It provides added flexibility and dimension to editing compared to the standard Office editors and includes powerful vector drawing tools, professional grade color management tools, creation of complex PDF documents and supports large number of import/export filters and formats. The programs has professional grade publishing capabilities but is simple and intuitive enough for home use.
