HippoScan is a convenient application that acts as a PC suite for scanning equipment. Most scanners come with their own PC suites but HippoScan provides a generic and basic tool for most scanner models. It allows specifying file paths for scanning, file formats either in PDF or JPEG, send directly to email client, specify DPI and color settings, paper size and many more. After scanning it also provide such editing functions as rotate, greyscale, cropping, adjust contrast and brightness all using convenient specialized buttons and dropdowns. You can also scan to PC only to send to printer directly without saving file, in cases when scanner and printer are two separate equipment. All in all the program is very user friendly and should meet the basic office scanning and printing demands.
