Kaspersky Free is a convenient malware cleanup tool for casual home users that allows easy and quick scanning for all kinds of PC malware and viruses such as viruses, trojans, worms, infectious emails, various adware etc. It has a command line interface too for those more advanced users and allows specialized tasks such as scanning only mapped drive, create report file or prevent automatic PC reboot. It can restore broken system settings or poorly configured Windows settings, in particular items which might have been trashed by a malware infection (autorun enabled, invalid file associations, regedit/ Task Manager/ Control Panel blocked etc). The program has an easy user interface and can perform fully automated scans and cleanup with little user interaction.
