File Wiper is a small utility to help you permanently and securely remove sensitive data on your hard drive. Deleting files normally does not get rid of them completely off the hard drive, even if you empty the recycle bin. To completely remove data you need to overwrite them to hide any traces. While one overwrite should be fine, this program affords up to seven passes (overwrite of each bit) to guarantee safety. It has a simple interface where you can either select file and send to program to wipe, or drag and drop file to program to do the job.
