Qucs, which stands for Quite Universal Circuit Simulator, is an open-source electronics circuit simulator software for software and hardware engineers that facilitates the set up of a circuit with a graphical user interface and simulate the large-signal, small-signal and noise behaviour of the circuit. Simulation data can be represented in various types of diagrams and features include the transmission line calculator, filter synthesis, Smith-Chart tool for power and noise matching, attenuator design synthesis, device model and subcircuit library manager, optimizer for analog designs, the Verilog-A interface etc. It supports a large list of analog and digital components and is much simpler and easier to handle than many of its counterparts. The program is supported in multiple languages.
