FreeCAD is a powerful software for architects and graphic designers that comes with a variety of desiging tools for creating parametric models in 2D or 3D. This means you can easily tweak your models by going back and changing fundamental parameters. The program supports rich import and export formats such as DWG, STEP, IGES, OBJ, STL, DXF, SVG, STL, DAE, IFC and other vector graphics formats and supports scripting in command line interface. It includes a robot simulation module and additional rendering modules and plugins are available through its open source inteface.
