HashTab is a small application that calculates files hashes and checks file integrity and authenticity. Hashes are complex algorithms used by the computer to map file parameters and data and return a code that completely describes that file. This way if you compare two hashes and they are exactly the same then the two files are identical. This function is very useful when you are dealing with multiple file moving on a daily basis and you would like to continuously check for file consistency and integrity as you transfer data from one source to another and want to make sure it's the same packet. The program has Widows shell integration and provides access via an independent tab on the Windows Explorer.
