McAfee Stinger is special purpose infection removal tool designed for administrators and experienced users as an enhancement to existing antivirus software. It has a very simple interface with configurable settings for specific tasks. Its main purpose is to address such infections as trojans and worms that can cripple the operating system. The program is executable and can be run from external drives. You can specify targets such as Registry and Processes and define the scan level. Stinger will scan quickly with high detection rates and can repair or remove infections upon detection.
