XYplorer is a very good alternative to the classic Windows Explorer (WE) and has more useful features and functions. It has a layout very similar to the latter and is easy to use. It features a tabbed view of windows; something that is very common with browsers but is missing from WE. It also supports drag and drop of files between tabs for a faster operation. It was first developed as a search engine so it includes advanced search tools such as fuzzy match and multiple location search.
