Tribler is an open source anonymous peer to peer file sharing and torrent download software based on the Onion Router. This provides layered and decentralized browsing online that greatly enhances and in many cases ensures full anonymity in sharing files. It utilizes strong encryption algorithms for uncensored file transfers and employs a built in media player for streaming media while downloading. The program can intelligently pick up user preferences and tastes after cumulative downloads and filter or suggest contents.
