Maxima is a powerful computer algebra system (CAS) used to manipulate large polynomials, symbolic and numerical expressions and drawing complex plots and graphs. It can process differentiation, integration, Taylor series, Laplace transforms, ordinary differential equations and plot graphs using a gnuplot command line interface. It provides arbitrary and high precision integers with floating point numbers. The program has a multilingual and convenient user interface with multiple configurable settings suitable for the mass algebra enthusiasts and users.
