EditPad Lite is an excellent alternative to the native Windows text editor (Notepad). Its extensive text creating and editing tools will remind you of the power and importance of a good text editor especially for web developers and programmers. Its tabbed interface makes text file management that much faster and more convenient. It has a powerful search and replace tool with many expressions and terms that can span more than one line. The text can be managed visually with line numbering, maneuvring text in chunks, deleting duplicate lines etc..
