Parkdale is a small and simple application for measuring the read/write speed of your drives. You can perform three measruing tests; a Quick Access test, which measures the sequential read & write access speed, a File Access test which uses a normal file from your file system to measure the read/write performance or a Block Access test which will bypass the filesystem and read/write directly from the disk sectors. You can compare your existing hard drives or use an online online benchmarking tool to compare to industry standards.
