Skype is one of the most popular online communications tools. You can call to other registered users totally free online and it works seamlessly even with the slowest internet connections, from 120Kb and over. You can communicate through a web cam too and the program accepts virtually all webcams. Video calls however will require faster connections. You can chat with an unlimited number of participants as well as create call conferencing with multiple users. You can upgrade this feature to video conferencing by buying a premium package. Last but not least you can share files over Skype live, although the rate of transfer is quite slow. If you wish to take Skype further you can deposit funds on your account and call to landlines and mobiles at considerably lower rates.
