Microsoft MSRT (Malicious Software Removal Tool) is a small portable application from Microsft with an uncanny name that provides on demand tools for scanning and removing harmful malware and viruses from computer. On demand means that the program does not provide real time protection and is merely a standalone complementary package to your existing PC protection. It has a simple and straightforward interface that requires least interaction. It can scan the computer in triple scanning modes and remove any infections found, while producing and saving an avtivities log in your local directory.
