Microsoft Camera Codec Pack is a collection of codecs that allow opening and viewing RAW image files used in all modern digital cameras. RAW format can be seen as the analog of the negative print used in the old days. Using this set of codecs you can view camera contents directly from the Windows Explorer (without any special camera suites) and also process and convert the images to other image formats. It supports nearly all makes of digital cameras and thus supports a large variety of RAW format diversities and compressions.
